Hi, lovely viewer and welcome to this post, I have written many article about 2Go, you may check this category for 2GO Tips. This is a post which I should have written for some months ago, but I personally did not value or mind my 2GO Stars, this is because I have never seen any body who received dollars or get any reward for been in the 2GO highest Star but many of my 2GO friends as been question me that how can they boost their 2go from one Star to the Other, And some ask how they can quickly become Masters, Ultimate and Others.

Reasons Why People Love To Boost Their 2go Stars
I have asked a lot of my friends that what is the main reason you wanted to boost your 2go stars, some told me because they get respected by their fellow friends because of their stars, if you see somebody who is Master or Ultimate and you are Novice that they are different, While Some of my friend told me that any one who is Master Or Ultimate knows how to chat more than a person who is Novice. So now am decided to share with you;

How to Increase 2GO Star Progress
There is no specific trick of increasing 2GO star progress as at now but I will be highlighting some unique way of increasing it as follow:
   1. The longer you stay online the more your 2go star will increase (Everyone knows about this).
I know you don't want to be online all the time because you've got lots of things to do and if you just appear online and keep quite your friends would be mad at you.
To get around this issue
   • Scroll down to Settings
   • Go to Change Presence and set your presence to Away or Appear Offline
But be careful while doing this because most times the communication networks in Africa are not stable and might make you Appear Online again without your knowledge. So while appearing OFFLINE make sure you still check your 2go account from time to time so that your friends do not start sending you messages without you replying back.
   2. The More 2Go-Credits you Spend, the more your Star Increases.
For you to spend 2Go-Credits you must first of all purchase it first or obtain it from Friends on your 2go list.
To buy 2go credits, go to "Get GoCredits" and then select the package that suits you.
To spend your go-credits you have several ways of doing it.
   • By visting 2go chat rooms and contributing to ongoing chats: Each time you chat in the Rooms you spend a GoCredit from your 2go Account.
   • By adding/trying to add friends in the chat rooms: To add friends. Visit  any 2go room of your choice by clicking on 2go Rooms, Then select the room you want to visit. While in the room Go to Menu then select List Users or Add Someone. A list of chatters in that room will appear. Choose who you want to add and wait to see if the person accepts you and that's all.
   • You can also spend GoCredits by transferring 2go Credits to friends on your list: To transfer gocredits.  Select the friend you want to transfer the credit to. Click on Menu and Select "Share Go Credits" Type in the amount and Click on Send. That is all.
   • The Fourth way of Spending go credits is by Sending Group Messages:  To do this. Select "Friends", Make sure your cursor is directly on Friends (Do not go further), Click on Menu >> Select Message Group, Type the message you want to send (This may be any latest news, jokes etc). Click on Send and that is all (Note: you can only send messages to about 50 people at a time.)  To get around this issue you can create new groups and move some of your friends to these groups.
   • The fifth way is by buying 2go Jokes: To do this. Go to "2go Goodies" and then select "2go Jokes". They will ask you to reply yes if you want to proceed, do that and the amount for the joke will be subtracted.

   3. Hanging Out In Chat Rooms helps too.

How to Boost 2go Stars with Lower Version of 2go
It seems that the lower versions of 2go are quickly improve 2go star than the new versions like version 1 and 2, so if you have abandoned your 2go lower version, start using it now, if you want rapid improvement in your 2go star level.

You might not believe that is possible to hack 2go account but am telling you right now that is very possible and simple to hack 2go account. There are bad people out their Setting big trap for you on how to hack your 2go account easily.
2go Accounts are been hacked to gain personal Informations, Interest for gocredits etc. 
 Here are Some Strategies They Normal Use To Hack 2go Accounts   1. A friend of mine was chatting with one of his friends on 2go, and the guy told him to goto: www.2gopuse.wapka.mobi for him to get unlimited gocredits. (You know we 9ja guys, we like free things)
To cut the story short, his 2go account was hacked.
  2. Do not download 2go by a guy Called Olayiwole. He call it 2go v7 with screenshot.zip Okay, you don't believe me, download his 2go by  Click Here and check the file details, use your blueftp to open the file. You'll see de.class.bak it has been programmed in his 2go but you won't know.
Note: The above is to show you the little among the strategies which they are use to hacked 2go accounts, there are still lot of strategies which they are using to gain access to your account but you just need to be careful about them.

 Some Tips To Safekeeping Your 2go Account From Being Hacked  

  1. Use Strong Password: Your names and nicks, parents, siblings or your pet names or even your birthday do not qualify. Use a mix of letters, digits and punctuate [but not blank spaces]. Use both upper and lowercase letters.
The longer your password, the better. The shorter your password, the easier it is to be hacked, especially if it’s a common word or name. A good starting point is six characters though 8, 10 or 12 are even better, also consider using an unusual phrase of words that only you or a few people might know, then substitute some of the letters with digits and punctuate. Humorous combination might make it easier to remember but otherwise write your password down in a safe place.
  2. Change Your Password Regulary: I mean monthly or even weekly not yearly. Try and change your password after logging in with your friend's phone unless you used a 2go that don't retain login infomation.
  3. 2go Can Never Ask You For Your Login Information, So therefore don't tend to any 2go user that claims to be a 2go staff.
On A similar note, protect the sim that you used to registered for 2go, else someone can succeed in resetting your 2go password with the Sim Card.
  4. Don't Accept Friend Request From Unknown User Without A Profile Picture Or Unknown User With A Nude Pix As A Profile Picture: Boys now open a Female Account While Girls open a Male Account On 2go with aim of fishing the Passwords of their Victims. So I suggest don't engage in any relationship with a 2go user you have never seen or heard from.
  5. Don't Believe Any Status Update Or Private Message From A 2go User Requesting Your Password For Star Boosting Or For Increase Of gocredits:

Warning to all 2go users: Don't try to input your 2go details (i.e username and password) on any Site apart from 2go Official Site if you do, your 2go account would be hacked.
You might not be able to Login to your 2go account again. Also, your gocredits would be packed/Wiped away.

Your 2go Account can never be Hacked if you make use of the Tips above!

HOW TO USE YOUR FAVORITE PICTURE AS A BACKGROUND ON 2GO CHAT MESSENGER

Do you love it? 
It is very easy to make your picture or your beloved one picture as a background or style on your 2go chat messenger.
Follow the steps below to make yours 2go chat messenger background look as mine
Firstly, Download this 2go which makes the background photo feature possible

• 2go_with_Background_Picture.zip Or
• 2go_With_Background_Picture.jar

Hope you have got your copy of 2go with background photo application, Open it and press Option then press General Settings.

Scroll down to Background Path. Under it you will see something like File:///E://MZMOD.png
As in the screenshot below .

To Put Your Photo As The Background Photo
Lets take for Example, You saved the Photo you want to use as “My photo.jpg” and It is stored in “Images” In your memory card. Change the name "file:///E:/MZMOD.png" in the Box above to file://E://Images/My photo.jpg
Then press Option and Save. 

Now click Option and Start App. to open your 2go.
Hope you now see your favorite photo in the background of your 2go.
enjoy it!

Note: For phones like nokia c1,c2, nokia 3310c and others don't use any image that has more than 60kb in size and the resolution must not be more than 360*360.
You may take screenshot of it and upload it as your profile picture in your 2go and see how your friends will be asking you questions that how did you do it.

HOW TO USE 2GO CHAT MESSENGER WITH KEMULATOR ON PC (IT BETTER THAN 2GO OFFICIAL PC SOFTWARE)

Are you  using 2go chat messenger to chat on your pc? if not, visit 2go official website www.pc.2go.im to download 2go pc software. It required Java Runtime before it work click here to download latest Java runtime software if you don't have it installed on your system before.
After using 2go on your pc for about 1 to 2 days did you experienced application error or no midlets when you are trying to re-open  your 2go pc software.
When this occurred, there is no other solution than to delete it and re-download it but after view days, you will still experience the same problem.
I tried to fix this problem on my pc but not yet solved, i later tested 2go.jar with kemulator on my pc and it worked fine. I decided to share it with you, so that you can also enjoy 2go chat messenger on your pc too without any interrupted.

MATERIALS

• 2go.jar [Click here to get it] 
• Kemulator [Click here to get it] 
• Java Runtime [Click here to get it] and 
• Internet connection [e.g through phone, modem or wireless]  

INSTALLATION PROCESS

1. Install Java Runtime [skip this if you have it installed on your pc before] 
2. Move your 2go.jar to any folder in your system that you will easily remember 
3. Extract Kemulator.zip you downloaded to your desktop 
4. Double Click on Kemulator folder you just extracted, there are many files inside but just Locate the word Kemulator with phone logo. 
5. Click View Option - >>2 - Network - Proxy type: choose HTTP Proxy. Leave the rest boxs Empty and click Ok. 

  HOW TO LOAD YOUR 2GO.JAR IN KEMULATOR

1. In the kemulator Memu, Click Midlet - Load Jar, then Locate where you kept your 2go.jar and open it
2. Your 2go will open and begin connect, it will later say Incorrect Usename or Password, Click Dismiss to fill your Username and Password, then hit login.

That is all, enjoy 2go with Kemulator on your pc! 
NOTE: You can also use Kemulator to open any Java Softwares on your Laptop/Desktop, like .jar operas, Games and other Java applications.

HOW TO CHANGE 2GO STYLE WITHOUT PAY 540 GOCREDITS

Hi and welcome to this post, if you are one of 2go instant chat messenger lovers, this post is for you.

How to get GoCredits

If you do not have up to required (300 GoCredits) balance in your 2go account.

Use the phone number you used to register your 2go account to send an SMS of the word 2go credits to: 32122 for 300 GoCredits, 30 Naira will be deducted from your balance and 300 GoCredits  will be sent to your 2go account, then you are qualify to get any 2go styles and your 300 Gocredits will be intact.

NOTE: Do not have more than 500 GoCredits in your account to perform this operation, if you don’t want your GoCredits to wipe away.

How to Activate 2go Gateway to Chat with Facebook Friends on 2go Messenger

If you are already connected and chatting with Facebook friends on 2go, you are less concern for this post. Is to assist the people who are yet to understand how to link Facebook friends  with a 2go messenger for instant chatting or having problem with 2go Gateway during activating process and if some one help you activated your own, this is your opportunity  to learn how they do it and help another to activate it too.

Then take note or write out your Username, mine is funshok1 as you can see in the screenshot.

Since your Username is set, open your 2go application, allow it to login and click on Settings >> Gateways >> Facebook Gateway >> Activate.

Fill it with the Username you got on Facebook  then insert your real Facebook password in the password space, not yours 2go password then click Activate.

Your 2go must now show as the screenshot below:
