This a new discovery on how you can stop Whatsapp messenger from connecting to the internet all the time though Whatsapp can be exit on some Symbian and iPhone mobile, But in other mobile phones Whatsapp keeps the server running in the background even when you exit the app. This leads to data usage and the battery gets drain and for you to stop that you will need to create a password to the internet access point, this is good but Whatsapp will always keep on requesting for connection every five minutes and you have to press the cancel button to deny connection.

Other methods that can be used to stop Whatsapp from connecting to the internet can be done with the help of Netquin Antivirus which you can download that from www.netqin.com/en/antivirus and after downloading it just launch it and Put Whatsapp in untrusted applications list, don't forget to put the firewall in On mode, That will help you to kill the applications.

Whenever you want Whatsapp to connect just open the Antivirus > Firewall > Settings > now set whatsapp as trusted application.

  In-case you still want to discontinue it again just go back to the settings and set it as untrusted application.

How to Recover Forgotten Memory Card Password on Nokia Symbian Phones

No body perfect, there might be a mistakes or something wrong which lead to forgetting memory card password though is uncommon but i believed is happen to view people. With a locked memory card, you won’t even be able to access your files even if you attach it to your computer with a card reader. However, if you’re using a Nokia Symbian phone, it is dead easy to retrieve your forgotten security password.
This trick works on hacked phones only, because you will be needing X-plore application to view hidden system folders.  If your phone is not hacked with open4all patch already applied or platform security turned off, this probably won’t work for you. To get your memory card unlocked, follow the procedure below:
    •  Click here or here to hack your phone (Skip this if your phone was already hacked)
    •  Open X-plore and press 0 (zero) button on your keypad
    •  Check all the four options to show hidden and system files

    •  Go to this location: C:/Sys/Data/Mmcstore

    •  Make sure mmcstore file is highlighted as shown in the above screenshot and press 3 on your keypad to open X-plore’s hex viewer
    •  My password was set to 12345 and you can see it shown in the screenshot below:

Your password will shown at the right side of the hex viewer. You can as well use the hex editor to change the password. You can enter the password you saw when your Memory ask for password to view your memory card files or you can reset  your memory card password to a more memorable password.
 It is an easy way to retrieve or reset your forgotten SD card password.

   • Visit www.freeroms.com to Download any Gameboy games for your symbian Phone, in that website Click on Gameboy Advance, A huge List of Games will be Presented to you, You can Download any one you want.
  • After Downloading, Extract the Files because all files there are in zip format, So after downloading use Xplore or any File Manager to extract the file that ends with .gba in the zip folder. Move the game file to the gbaroms folder inside the Vampent folder on your Memory card.
  • Open the Vbag Application and Feel the Games!

HOW TO STOP 'INSTALLING' ON YOUR SYMBIAN PHONES WHEN BOOSTING

2. Then Open your X-Plore.
3. Go to your Memory Card known as E:.
4. Go to Private Folder in your Memory Card.
5. Then open it and look for 10202dce.
6. Delete the folder 10202dce in the private folder.

It is simple as that, keep enjoying your phone.

3. Go to Apps Manager and delete Symantec Symbian Hack.

Then open your x-plore and delete folder C:/shared/folder. 

4. Download RomPatcherplus_3.1.sisx, Install it, Lunch it and apply All patches > Apply > Restore for full access to file system and install all applications...

If a red cross gets the supported installserver.exe from Installserver_all_in_1pack.zip, also it comes with  Symbian Device List to determine your appropriate installserver.

5. Move your installserver to C:\sys\bin.

If the bin folder was not in C:\sys then create a new folder in C:\sys, name it bin and move your installserver.exe to it.

You are done and Your phone is now fully hacked!

HOW TO PERFORM HARD RESET FOR ALL TYPE OF SYMBIAN PHONES INCLUDING SYMBIAN ^3, ANNA OR BELLE

You may want to perform Hard Reset or Restore your Phone to Factory Settings for various reasons which includes:

• Slow operating system 
• Virus attack 
• Boot-up failure with 'contact the retailer' error message 
• Incompatible applications that can't be fully removed 
• General system error.

Note: before you perform a hard reset on your Nokia N8 or any symbian smartphone you're using, you should back up your personal data and files as you will lose everything on the phone. Nokia Maps and Ovi store may also be gone after performing the operation.
There are many reasons beyond the ones I listed above and before running to a phone clinic, you can fix the problem by yourself and it save time and money. There are actually two methods to do this.

FIRST METHOD
Factory Settings

If you can still access the menu to perform basic operations For Nokia N8, Nokia N97, Nokia C6, C5, E8, E6, Nokia 5800 and almost all Nokia phones (both symbian and series 40), there is a code that works generally if you can still access the menu and operate the phone.

1. Power on the phone 
2.  At the home screen, press *#7370# 
3. Enter your phone security code and the phone restarts.

It will boots up with the default factory settings restored.

SECOND METHOD
Hard Nokia Reset

If you can not access the phone normally or it is unable to boot-up due to certain reasons, you need to use some key combinations to get your symbian device working again.

METHOD TO Hard Reset Nokia N8, Nokia C7 , Nokia E7 and other Symbian ^3 or Anna at Boot-up

1. Make sure the device
is turned off
2. Press and hold this listed keys:

• Menu key, 
• The Camera and 
• The Volume Down button 
• Then press The Power key (ON & Off button) together to turn on the phone.

See the screenshot below for better understanding

• Make sure you hold them (The 4 keys) until the device asks for your location.

This hard reset button combination perfectly works on other Symbian ^3 and Symbian Anna
touch-screen smartphones.Try it and see.

METHOD to Hard Reset Nokia N97 at Boot-up

• Make sure your Nokia N97 is turned off 
• Hold the following keys: 
• Left Shift key, 
• The Space Bar and 
• The Back key 
• Then the Power key simultaneously 

• Make sure you hold them until the device asks for your location.

METHOD to Hard Reset Nokia 5800 at Boot-up

•  Power off the phone or re-insert the battery 
• Press and Hold the below keys: 
• Green key, 
• Red call keys and 
• The Camera capture key 
• Then the Power key at the same time.

•  Hold them until the device boots up and asks for country.

METHOD To Hard Reset Other Nokia Phones

For other Nokia phones, I mean only Nokia symbian phones with normal keypads such as Nokia E5, N95, N81, N73, E65, E51, E55
Including symbian v2 like Nokia N70, Nokia 6600, 6630,3230 etc. you can perform a hard reset by using the key combination that works for all S60V3 and S60V5 phones.

• Re-insert the battery or power off your phone 
• Press and hold the following keys: 
• Star (*) key, 
• key 3, and 
• Call or green key 
• Then Power key simultaneously

• Keep holding till the phone boots up and asks for your country.
