5. After you have connected your phone to your laptop make sure you choose Ovi Suite Mode
6. Open Phoenix Service Suite you downloaded and run it on your laptop and click on Scan Product
7. After you have click scan, look by the side and select Product Profile
8. After you have click it, locate your Rm_614.ppu on your system, depending on what you downloaded, select it and you will see a list appear, just tick them all and where ever you see 0change it to 1
9. After you are done, with that click on enable tck and flash and your phone will restart  and pop a warning  message saying " WARNING TCK FLAG SET" don't get panic after that pop restart your phone and you are done

• After download the blueftp to your mobile phone, then install it.
• Now go to www.xchanger.mobi or any other file sharing sites to download any Java application. When downloading from xchanger.mobi, there is an option as to whether you want to download either the .Jar file, or .Zip file.
• If you choose the .Jar it means you are going to download the real application, but if you choose the zip file, it means the real application is going to be in a zip file which is what we want.
• So therefore, you should download the zip file. 
• After downloading the zip file, open your Blueftp and locate the zip file you have just downloaded from your mobile phone.
• After locating the zip file, open it and extract the jar file you will see inside.

To extract it:

• Just press the upper left soft key on your mobile phone.
• Then choose extract this item or you can use the shortcut by just pressing “1″.
• When you choose the extract selected item, it will take you back so as to choose any folder you want to extract the file to.
• Choose any folder and press the upper left soft key again and select extract item here or simply use the shortcut by pressing “3″.

After extracting the .jar file, you will see the file extension being renamed to _jar in the folder you extracted it to, now all you need to do is to clear all the text leaving only one letter with the _jar extension e.g. If the jar file is operamini.jar before, and after extracting it, it becomes operamini_jar.
Just press the upper left soft key and choose rename, then clear the operamini leave just one letter lets say the starting letter which is O. It will now become O_jar.

You can now send the file to any phone by:

• Pressing the upper left soft key and choose send via Bluetooth. 
• Search for the receivers phone and send it.
• After sending it, rename the O_jar from the person phone to O.jar
• Then you are done, you will now see the file as “Operamini”.
• The person can then install it on his phone.

4. Enter Beneficiaries Number

Google Launches Hangouts, An Alternative To WhatsApp & BBM for Android, iOS, Chrome and Gmail

Google just launched a unified messaging service simply called Hangouts.  This a lot different from the Hangouts feature on Google+, which only involved video chat.  Hangouts is essentially a messaging app the same way Facebook Messenger is, but it has more features.  It replaces Google Talk, Google+ Messenger, and the original Google+ Hangout service.  Hangouts is available now for download on Android, iOS, Gmail and Chrome through a web extension.

For over a year, whispers from GigaOm, Droid Life and others signaled Google would undertake a big unification of its fragmented messaging offering. As at now Google will offer new free iOS and Android Hangout apps, the Google+ integration, and you can upgrade from Google Talk to Hangouts by clicking on your photo in the Gmail chat list. There are currently no plans for other platforms like Windows Phone or Blackberry.

Google’s Vic Gundotra said at I/O today in San Francisco that Technology should get out of the way so you can live, learn, and love. Operating systems and devices shouldn’t matter. You just want to talk with those you care about. That’s the point of the revamped Hangouts. It brings humans and conversations to the forefront.

You can send photos in Hangouts, which are saved to a saved to a Google+ album that you and you conversation partners can view, edit, and share later. In fact, you can go back and view your photo and messaging history at any time, or you can turn history off so your dispatches aren’t saved.

The crown jewel of Hangouts is its namesake’s video chat. You can talk face to face with up to 10 friends at once. When you’re in a video chat, you’ll see who is talking in a big window while the rest of your chat partners are shown in tiles below. Friends’ Hangouts will ring when you call them, and they’ll get notified if they miss the digital meetup.

But Hangouts video isn’t just a group FaceTime. Google added a bunch of bells and whistles. You can add visual and sound effects or make use of special Hangouts apps. So if you want to wear a virtual pirate hat or set off some fireworks, you can. You can watch YouTube videos simultaneously with friends while laughing together, and take screenshots to capture moments for later.
No SMS, Yet

The biggest feature missing from Hangouts is the ability to send and receive SMS messages to and from friends who don’t have a Hangouts app installed. This means Hangouts isn’t truly universal. Several of its competitors allow it, including Apple’s iMessage and Facebook’s Messenger For Android (but not for iOS).

So if you want to pull mom into a Hangout, you might have to send her a standard SMS from your phone and tell her to install the Hangouts app. That could be significant stumbling block. However, Google tells us SMS support is one of the most requested features from Hangouts testers, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it comes in a future update.

Oddly, Google tells us that in some countries, feature phone users, but not smartphone users, can participate in Hangouts via SMS. This should help it reach more people in the developing world, a core area for growth of messaging apps.

Other missing features include voice messages or VoIP, but you could just use a video call without looking at the screen to approximate voice calling. There’s also no Hangouts On Air broadcasting to YouTube yet.
Why Google Needs Unified Messaging

The messaging space has become a battleground recently with independent messaging apps like WhatsApp and Line competing with Apple, Facebook, and Google to rule private communication. Everyone wants to become the high-tech successor to SMS.

For Google, messaging could create a wealth of engagement and monetization options. Of course Google could monetize Hangouts directly by cramming ads in it somewhere, or selling special effects for video chat and stickers for text.

A stronger, cross-platform chat experience in Gmail could boost time spent there, where Google already shows ads. It could also finally give people a real reason to use Google+.

Most importantly, though, Hangouts could humanize Google. Still viewed as a search and ads company, people don’t think about it first when they want to socialize. Hangouts leverages all of Google’s powerful technology to bring people closer together.

• Check the phone number you wish to call and make sure it started with 070 
• Replace the first 0 digits of the number you wished to call with 77 

E.G the number you wished to call is 07064706571, Dial it in the format below:
777064706571Click Send and your free calling are started. 

• Check your balance after you finished a discussion with the person you called, you will  notice that no Kobo was removed on your balance. 
• Any time you wished to call 070 numbers on your Airtel line, just dial it in the above format to enjoying free calls!

1. Go to any Airtel store and ask them to give you Airtel You&Me Sim pack. (It’s free and you don’t need to pay any dime for the Sim)

2. They will give you Two Sim packs, and register the Sim(s) for you.

3. Load #100 in each of the SIM to get it activate

4. Dial *422# send to activate it.

5. You can now make free call until you are tired of calling.

Remember that You can only make free call to only the second Airtel Sim. This package is just meant for people that are using Airtel line. Mobile Number Portability - How To Move Your Number To Airtel Network

At last, the Mobile Number Portability has been lunch yesterday, and I bet you, the competition will now be higher than you think. Mobile Number Portability(MNP) gives mobile phone users the ability to move to another mobile network and still retain their number (MSISDN). In other words, if you are using Mtn network and peradventure their network sucks at that particular time, you can easily switch to another network without changing any sim from your phone. This means that i can use my Etisalat number on Glo network. This is a new development in Nigeria telecommunication industry.

Steps To Move Your Number To Airtel

1.	To begin with, you need to generate UPC (Unique Porting Code) by sending SMS to 1900. UPC is an alphanumeric code allocated, upon request, by a mobile operator to its subscriber for the purpose of facilitation of porting of his/her mobile number to another operator.
	• SMS to be sent : PORT to 1900. Operator SMS charges will be applicable. • Eg. SMS PORT 98XXXXXXXX to 1900
2.	After sending SMS to 1900, you will receive UPC (Unique Porting Code) as a SMS from 1901 giving 8 digit alpha-numeric Unique Porting Code (UPC) and UPC expiry date in MM/DD/YYYY format
3.	Visit your nearest airtel outlet / showroom
4.	Fill airtel Mobile Number Porting (MNP) form providing details like
	• Current Mobile Number • Current Operator name • UPC code
5.	Submit Address & Id proof documents, self-attested photo and last bill copy of postpaid connection (if applicable) along-with filled MNP form and Customer Agreement Form.
6.	Buy the airtel MNP SIM card from airtel outlet / showroom. SIM charges, talktime value and porting charge are non-refundable in the event of cancellation / rejection of port-in request.
7.	airtel will send an SMS on your old/existing operator’s SIM (existing connection) intimating about the porting date and time, i.e. the date and approximate time till when you can continue to use your existing operator’s SIM card.
8.	There will be a 2-hour ‘no service period’ which will begin after the porting time as given above. The ‘no service period’ will be between 12 midnight to 5 am during which your mobile service will not be active on any SIM. All efforts will be made to ensure that this ‘no service period’ causes minimum inconvenience to you.
9.	After the ‘no service period’, you can replace your existing operator’s SIM card with the new airtel SIM card in your handset.

Once your airtel SIM card is activated you would be ready to enjoy airtel’s high-quality network, innovative value added services and best-in class customer service using your existing mobile number.
