I was with a friend of mine last week and i was to join a Client Online in the next 5 minutes, I lay my hand on his PC, power it ON and guess what i have to wait for almost 15 minutes before the PC can boot up completely, i was very angry that i have to call the client that i can no longer come online, so i got the issue / problem fixed for him with this procedure am about to unleashed to you!
The major cause of this problem is that the unwanted programs on the PC are starting up when you don't need them at a particular time! A good example is Yahoo Messenger, if you have Yahoo Messenger installed on your PC, and you Power ON your computer, while booting, Yahoo Messenger will also start running in background alongside other programs on your system and before you know, you computer will start running slow, lets get it fixed.

How to Stop Unwanted Program From Running On Start-up
1. Click on the Start Button and type msconfig in Run dialog box and hit Enter.

2. A dialog box like the one below will appear, Click on the Startup tab.

3. You will see some programs ticked. Those Programs will automatically Start Running anytime you ON your PC making it become Slow, Just click on the Disable All button and look on the list again, all the programs will now be un-ticked, try locating your Anti-Virus and the necessary one you need out of them, tick/mark them only.

3 Different Methods to Connect An Android Phones as Modem on Computer

Do you have an Android phone, and you want it to serve as a modem for your PC? Don’t worry; this post will explain how you can do it and your Android phone is cable of doing that. The only thing you can be worried about is whether your wireless network provider grants Android users the ability to tether their Android to use it as a modem.

Today, I want to share the two simplest, easiest and tested methods to connect your laptop, Netbook, or Desktop Computer to the internet using your Android phone. The first method that will be analyze doesn’t require any third party application, it works via wireless. While the second method involves the installation of a third party application on your Android device and PC, and the connection would be done via a USB synchronize cable.

1. How to Access Internet on Your PC with Android Device Using Wireless

This is the simplest and easiest way to get connected to the internet on your PC using your modem. This method works by creating a wireless network on your Android device, so no USB Cable would be required.

• On your Android Device, go to Settings >> Wireless and Network Settings >> Mobile networks, select the “Use Packet Data” option, and then unchecked “Use Only 2G Networks” option.
• Again, go to Settings >> Wireless and Network Settings >>Tethering and Portable Hotspot, and then select the second option “Mobile AP”. After selecting the “Mobile AP”, a blue wifi icon should appear on your phone notification bar.
•  Now go to your laptop, netbook, or desktop computer, or any other device you want to connect to your Android that supports WIFI, search for the available wireless networks, and select “Android AP” option.
• That’s all; you are now connected to the internet, just go to your browsing and start browsing.

2. How to Access Internet on Your PC With Android Device Using USB Cable (USB Tethering)

• Connect your Android Smartphone to the Laptop using the USB data cable.
• Make sure the phone’s drivers are installed properly. In most cases, windows will automatically recognize and install the drivers automatically. If it does not, then use the CD which is given along with the cellphone.
• In your android Smartphone, go to Settings >> Wireless and Network Settings >> Mobile Networks and select the “Use Packet Data” option. Also unchecked the “Use only 2G Networks” option.
• Again go to Settings >> Wireless and Network Settings >> Tethering and Portable Hotspots
• Select the “USB tethering” option and you should see a blue circle icon in the notification bar.
• You are now connected to the internet. Just open a browser and start browsing.

3. How to Access Internet on Your PC with Android Device Using PdaNet Software

To connect your Laptop, Netbook, or Desktop Computer to the internet using Android is by using PdaNet. This app shares the internet on your Android with your computer. Using this method does not require any root access or hacking of firmware. To use PdaNet to connect your PC to the internet using your Android phone, you will need to install the app on your Android, and the PC version on your PC. A USB synchronize cable would also be required for the connection.

• Download and Install the PdaNet+ on your Android phone (PdaNet+ is the latest version as at the time of this publication). Go to Android Market on your device and search for “pdanet” (without quotes “”) using the search function or click here to get the PdaNet+ software directly. 
• Go to Settings >> Developer options and enable USB debugging mode. 
• Download and Install the PDANet to your computer, for Windows and Mac. 
• After download and installation, restart your computer. Once restart, PdaNet icon will appear on your PC tray. 
• Now connect your Android Device using USB Cable. 
• Open PdaNet on your Android and tap "Enable USB Tether" to enable your Android to act as the modem for your computer. 
• Now click on PDANet icon on your computer and choose "Connect Internet". After this, the icon will blink for some seconds and then turn blue, which signifies successful connection. 

You can also send SMS from your phone using PDANet. Just click on PDANet Icon and select "start SMS agent". A new window will be opened. Choose contact and send SMS.

How To Reset The Unlock Counter Of Permanent Blocked Huawei Modem

A guy I personally know got a USB modem from the UK and the modem was locked to 3, a UK mobile network. On getting to Nigeria here, he found out the modem wouldn’t work with SIM card. The modem prompted for an unlock code and this dude kept guessing till he entered it incorrectly 10 times. He rendered the modem useless and even DC unlocker couldn’t unlock it. I tried all I could but it didn’t work. I decided to try flashing the modem and re-installed the firmware but still, the unlock counter still read 10. Before the modem finally became useable again, Below is the procedure i followed:

How to Reset the Unlock Counter

Like I said earlier, upgrading the firmware did not reset the unlock counter which read 10 out of 10. I had to reset the counter with a software. If you haven’t entered your unlock code 10 times like the guy in question did, you can still do it if you want to unlock your modem, anyway.

• Download Huawei Modem Unlocker Here
• Extract the content and run the .exe file inside
• Click on Refresh. Your modem should be automatically detected so far you checked AUTO CONNECTION under connection mode
• Be sure Auto-Calc Code and Auto-Unlock Modem are both marked
• Click READ MDM DATA

• Now click UNLOCK. This should both unlock your modem and reset the counter at the same time 
• Congratulation! Now you’ve successfully reset “permanently locked” of your Huawei modem to 10 times again.
• Lastly, click on Calculate to generate the flash code. You’re gonna be needing it later.

Communications purporting to be from popular social web sites, auction sites, online payment processors or IT administrators are commonly used to lure the unsuspecting public.
Phishing can also be seen as an act of cloning a site e.g If someone want to hack your Facebook Account, He/She would need an Exact Page like the Facebook Homepage with a little PHP Code at the back of the Script and then Upload it online {usually hosted online free}, then share the link on facebook or other site and lie to you that you can Make or Get $1000 in 3 Days and all that kind of attractive lies and when you click on the Link, A Facebook Homepage will show up, If you dare input your Email and Password, The Details will be sent to the email address of the Hacker.
The example of Phishing site is the clone of 2go site made by an hacker and use it to lying to the people that if they enter their 2go username and password in to the site, they will get big 2go credit in the next 10minutes.

How to Increase Your Mozilla Firefox Browsing Speed

Although not officially released for certain operating systems, the freely available source code works for many other operating systems, including FreeBSD,OS/2, Solaris, SkyOS, BeOS and more recently, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.
I am providing some Very Useful Tips to speedup your Firefox.
In your location bar, type about:config
A pop up box will show to you click on I'll be careful, I promise!Once it Opens You should see similar to the following screen

Tip1
In the filter bar type network.http.pipelining
You should see the following screen

Normally it says " false " under value field , Double click it so it becomes " true ".
Once you finished this you should see the following screen.

Tip2
In the filter bar again and type network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Once it Opens You should see the following screen

Default it says 4 under value field and you need to change it to 8
Once you finished this you should see the following screen.

Tip3
Go to the filter bar again and type network.http.proxy.pipelining
Once it Opens You should see similar to the following screen

Normally it says " false " under value field , Double click it so it becomes " true ".
Once you finished this you should see the following screen.

Tip4
Go to the filter bar again and type network.dns.disableIPv6
Once it Opens You should see the following screen

Normally it says " false " under value field , Double click it so it becomes " true ".

This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.
Tip7

Now you need to Create one more Preference name with " interger value " for this Right click any where > New > Integer

Once it opens you should see the following screen

Here you need to type content.notify.backoffcount and click Ok

Now you need to enter 5 in value filed and click Ok

Once you finished this you should see the following screen.

Tip8
Now you need to Create one more Preference name with " interger value " for this Right Click any where > New > Integer

Once it opens you should see the following screen

Here you need to type ui.submenuDelay and click Ok

Now you need to enter 0 in value filed and click Ok

Once you finished this you should see the following screen.

Exit your Mozilla Firefox and Reopen it. 
Since you are broadband, it shouldn’t have to wait.
Now you should notice you are loading pages MUCH faster now!

Firefox Memory Leak Fix
Open a new tab. Type " about:config " without quotes into the address bar and hit enter/click Go.
Right-click anywhere, select New, then Integer. In the dialog prompt that appears, type:
browser.cache.memory.capacity
Click OK. Another dialog prompt will appear. This is where you decide how much memory to allocate to Firefox. This depends on how much RAM your computer has, but generally you don't want to allocate too little (under 8MB), but if you allocate too much, you might as well not do this. A good recommended setting is 16MB. If you want 16MB, enter this value into the dialog prompt:
16384
(Why 16384 instead of 16000? Because computers use base-12 counting. Thus 16 megabytes = 16384 bytes. Likewise, if you want to double that and allocate 32MB, you'd enter 32768.)
Click OK to close the dialog box, then close all instances of Firefox and restart. If your Firefox still uses the same amount of memory, give it a few minutes and it should slowly clear up. If that fails, try a system reboot.
Now your Firefox will now be 3 -- 30 times faster in loading pages.
